The peony bushes at the cottage were in full bloom this past weekend. And while mowing the lawn Saturday late afternoon, I noticed the low sun bringing a glow to an unusual bloom hanging over the side of the bench along Park Lane. I stopped mowing long enough for some grab shots. I wish I had tarried longer, but guests were due to arrive for dinner shortly.
