The last color before the gray whiteness of the winter is upon us...nasturtiums.

Every year they are the faithful reminders of the season just past. My reward of this past Saturday was doing homage to the nasturtiums still blooming on the cottage deck. And it felt very satisfying to conceive and construct the attached triptych of a tiny green leaf in the midst of massive yellow flowers, or so it seemed through my macro lens.

Soon the darkness will begin to shorten again!
