A caring memory...

When Mom and Dad lived in Greenfield Acres, we used to give Mom hanging baskets of fuschia plants for Mother's day. Talking to them and watering them, she took such good care of them that they were the loveliest bloomers all summer long.

When they moved to Brethren Village, I began buying one to hang on our back deck. Today I walked by it and remembered the past.

Mother's Day is a special time of remembrance for my Mother and me. I was her first born on that very day.
