I'm a sucker for leaves...and I'm finding them everywhere.

They're so venerable as in: commanding respect by virtue of age,
dignity, character, or position. See synonyms at elderly.

And in my old age, I hope that I'm as venerable.

On Sunday afternoon I found this one down by a pier piling which was
frozen in solid. In the ice there was a veritable potpourri of textures
that had me lying down on the dock in an attempt to get my lens closer.

I also found my valentine image amidst that cold lifeless tundra, but you
will need to wait a few more weeks to see it.
