What is it that makes sunrises and sunsets different colors? Is it predictable? Like given weather conditions will produce certain color schemes or is it the season of year that determines the hues? On the bottom left is the first view of the morning and on the right is the last view of the day...the beginning and ending to a winter Sunday. It seemed appropriate to bring the visual bookends of the day together for an impressionistic representation. Blended, each in their own way adding richness to the complexity that intrigues. A whole new experience has come from the bringing together of the beginning and ending of the day. This work of art now graces the wall of a friend's abode. enjoy... jim p.s. me thinks sunday morning worship often works against the original intent of this day of rest. on the seventh day of creation, God didn't say it was good and then go to church. maybe after sunset before the beginning of the new week...
