Beginning the journey to the wilderness...

The trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) in northern Minnesota with my brothers and our sons in a figurative sense began lots earlier in the wilderness of family relationships. In a very real way, the literal journey brought us through the firgurative one.

It began with skipping pebbles along the shore of Lake Superior...individuals emersed in the sea of shared experience.
