When I came home from sailing on Saturday, Lin had this echinacea bouquet setting on our lunch counter. Right away I knew what I wanted to do with it. So this morning, I hung a piece of chinese silk in the window facing the barn and a series of shots that will be known as the echinacea bouquet study were born.

Here's the beginnings...(and yes, it is nearly square, a mere hint of horizontal)
