Wednesday, March 27, 2002 Nature's chicken line If the angle's right when you catch a view of bleeding hearts flat on, they look like chickens hanging on the processing line at Victor Weavers in New Holland, Penna. Yesterday morning, I was down on my knees under the Japanese maple tree, checking out angles when I made this shot. The morning before, after it had rained that night, I was doing the same thing checking for rain drops on the flowers when Amy left for work. She gave me this strange look as she drove out of the driveway, but a little latter I received this endearing email note from her: Have I ever told you... ...that I love how you are able to notice the little things (the flowers, the sunlight) when the rest of the world is just rushing by them. It's wonderful! I love you, Dad! -A To which I replied that I wished the clock would stand still while I do so! I'm so blessed with a daughter of affirming words. jim "proud to be a father" bowman All material on this page is copyright 2000-2010 Use only with permission.
