My blending of images began what seems like a long time ago a result of an unusual thusly worded gift from my son Tim, ace certified Photoshop expert:

Hear ye! Hear Ye!

Let it be known that by the Order of His Grace, Timothy J. Bowman, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand Anno Domini, Jim L. Bowman shall enter under the formal tutelage of his son, Timothy J. Bowman, for the purpose of furthering his knowledge of the mysterious inner workings of that broadly acclaimed and world-renowned tool for pixel torturing and manipulation, Adobe Photoshoppe.

Let also be known that this tutelage shall continue until the affore-mentioned elder Bowman has achieved in himself a mastery of the ways and means of the afforementioned tool or until the end of time itself, whichever comes first. The afforementioned younger Bowman is quite satisfied to continue his diligent instructorship until either outcome shall come to pass.

Finally, let it be known that the whats and wherefores regarding the tutelage in question are yet to be discussed between the parties and as such are very much negotiable. The afforesaid tutelage may be concievably extended to other software packages (eg. Adobe Illustrator) which may prove themselves to be useful or otherwise interesting to the involved parties.

Set down in the Court of His Gracious Majesty, Timothy J. Bowman, on the Twenty-Fifth Day of December, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Nine Anno Domini, as a loving Christmas gift.
