Today I captured an old nasturtium bloom that was wearing a leaf for a hat. Being a bit tattered by age myself, I understand the comfort of a hat, especially at this time in history.

It felt good to be out in the cool breezes warmed by the rays of the sun while planting flower bulbs. It was a necessary activity of hope on a day filled with very depressing news.
